Dr. Heather Thomas is a native Northwest Houstonian. She received her Bachelor’s degree in 1998 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2002, both from Texas A&M University. She has worked primarily in northwest Houston and College Station, Texas, as a small animal practitioner. Her primary interests are surgery, dermatology, and cardiology. Dr. Thomas has a 15 year old son who keeps her busy with baseball, theater, and other teenage activities. She spends her free time at her ranch where she enjoys gardening, canning, raising chickens and cows, and some good old fashion R & R. Her other interests, when she has the time, are sailing, knitting, reading, cooking, and scrapbooking. She currently has 2 dogs (Cinnamon and Nyko) and a cat (Benny). Her favorite aspect of being a veterinarian is experiencing the human-animal bond and finding new ways to teach families about responsible pet ownership. Her goal is to help people and their pets have many happy, healthy years together. |
